Sani Resort Introduces ‘Sani Dunes’… to Open in June 2017

The multi-awarded Sani Resort in the Halkidiki peninsula recently announced a 24.2 million euro addition to the group’s roster: the five-star Sani Dunes — to open its doors to adults and children over 12 in June 2017.

Currently in the licensing procedure, work on the new hotel is set to begin in October and be completed in approximately eight months. The luxury facility will be built on 41 acres of land and include 136 rooms and suites, three restaurants, indoor pool and spa.

In the meantime, Sani Group also plans to invest some 13.3 million euros for the upgrade and expansion of Sani Club, adding 46 junior suites and 16 more with private pools, as well as a new restaurant, bar and pool for adults and an indoor pool.

Renovation works will also cover Sani Beach, Sani Asterias, Porto Sani and Sani Marina.

Meanwhile, merged entity but operating as separate brands Sani and Ikos will move ahead in the next few months with the upgrade of 298 rooms at Ikos Oceania budgeted at 11.2 million euros.
