Marking the fair’s 90th anniversary since its establishment, organizers TIF – HELEXPO will launch a fleet of hot-air balloons ready to offer a taste of some TIF magic with daily flights between August 29 and September 5. The hot air balloons will also take center stage during the 81st TIF fair offering visitors and participants a chance to take to the skies. First stop on August 29 is in Serres at 7pm at Eleftherias Square, Kilkis on August 30, Edessa on August 31, Kozani on September 1, Larissa on September 2, Katerini on September 3, Kavala on September 4, and Veroia on September 5. First held on October 3, 1926, the fair is a major political milestone as every year, Greece’s prime minister presents the government’s annual policies in his key note address.
