Mideast Travel Wins at World Travel Awards Third Year Running

Mideast Travel was named “Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company” as part of the 2016 World Travel Awards on Sunday. The title was announced at the World Travel Awards Europe Gala Ceremony at the Forte Village Resort in Sardinia.

This is the third year in a row that Mideast Travel has been named Greece’s Leading Destination Management Company.

“Getting awarded by the World Travel Awards is the dream of a lifetime, the greatest target for every company in the tourism industry”, said Souha Katerina Mousbeh, Mideast Managing Director.

Hailed as “The Oscars of the Travel Industry”, World Travel Awards is acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade, and celebrates those brands that are pushing the boundaries of industry excellence.

“Being awarded for the third consecutive year in a row by the world-renown institution of the World Travel Awards, is a celebration. It puts a smile on our faces, it is our inspiration for more future achievements, always connected to Mideast name and care”, Ms Mousbeh said.

Votes for the industry’s best are made by professionals working within travel and tourism – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators and travel agents. Since 2009, voting has also been opened to the public to reflect the growing role that WTA plays in influencing how people make their travel purchasing decisions.

World Travel Awards celebrated its 23rd anniversary this year and was attended by senior executives from major travel companies, operators and destinations.
