Porto Carras Grand Resort Wins Double at World Travel Awards 2016

Porto Carras Grand Resort won two categories of the World Travel Awards, which were announced in Sardinia, Italy, in early September.

At a dazzling ceremony, held at the Forte Village Resort, Porto Carras Grand Resort was named Greece’s Leading Resort and Greece’s Leading Family Resort.

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards — hailed as the “Oscars” of the travel industry — acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the tourism industry.

“For another year, consistency, innovation and leadership bring Porto Carras Grand Resort on the top ranking preferences of the public that is seeking quality, advanced services and unique experiences for vacation, establishing the old-time favorite resort of Halkidiki as the leading quality and safe destination worldwide”, the hotel’s management said in an announcement.

The World Travel Awards is recognised across the globe as the most prominent and comprehensive benchmark for excellence in the industry.
