The 90-minute session, which takes place on Wednesday, November 9, at 10.30am in Platinum Suite 3&4, will see 100 leading industry bloggers hold quick-fire business meeting with exhibitors interested in increasing their media exposure. WTM London Bloggers Speed Networking last year saw 300 exhibitor personnel discuss business opportunities with the 100 bloggers. The event launched in 2014 with 70 bloggers and was expanded to 100 bloggers in 2015. Bloggers will need to have registered for WTM London as members of the media to apply for a place, and then a separate registration for the speed networking will be available on the WTM website. “The number of bloggers attending World Travel Market has increased dramatically over the past few years as the power and influence of bloggers continues to grow stronger”, World Travel Market Portfolio Press & PR Manager Paul Nelson said. “It has been a hugely popular event since its introduction in 2014, with the number of exhibitors taking part increasing each year. We expect this year’s event to the biggest and the most successful yet.” WTM Bloggers’ Speed Networking will take place in association with Traverse. WTM London 2016 will be revamped as a three-day event from Monday 7 – Wednesday 9 November, with opening hours extended from 10am – 7pm for all three days.
