Concerts, art and photography exhibits, street art, theater and street performances, seminars and educational programs, the famed French varietè shows and plenty of fun make up the 4th Petit Paris d’ Atenes Festival, co-organized by the Athens Art Network, the City of Athens Cultural, Sport & Youth Organization and the Attica Region, with the support of the French Embassy in Greece and the French Institute. This year’s theme focuses on “team spirit and the arts” (l’esprit d’équipe et les arts) with events taking place at 40 spots across the Greek capital including schools, galleries, hotels, bistros, as well as on streets near and around Omonia, Vathis and Kariaskaki squares. The 10-day event features over 500 Greek and international artists, including jazz trios and quartets, percussionists, stilt walkers, acrobats, Montmartre painters, storytellers and street performers.
