It is a very impressive resort and really stands out in terms of style and architecture, services and facilities and admittedly one of a handful of properties to offer this level of accommodations in this category”, said Dimitrios Schistohilis, Project Manager, Spyrou Philoxenia. Built with traditional stone architecture and located at an altitude of 800 meters, Kaimak Inn’s appearance blends in with the surrounding area and showcases the finest that Northern Greece has to offer. Visitors can enjoy activities such as skiing, horseback riding and hiking with the popular Kaimaktsalan Ski Center located 16 km away. “Though great demand already exists for major holidays such as Christmas, New Years, and Easter, as a member of Spyrou Philoxenia, we want to help further support the growing interest for the destination throughout the entire year”, Schistohilis added. Other nearby points of interest include the traditional villages of Palaios Agios Athanasios, Nymfaio in Florina, the Pozar thermal springs near Lake Vegoritis and of course the Edessa waterfalls. The Kaimak Inn features 40 rooms and includes an onsite restaurant and café. Spacious rooms are separated into Comfort and Junior Suites categories with the upgraded Junior Suites featuring en-suite fireplaces. The resort is equipped for business meetings and conferences of up 180 people with equipment provided and also offers entertainment options with an extensive recreation room with billiard tables, board and table games, projection TVs and children’s play area and outdoor heated Jacuzzi. A first-of-its-kind feature for hotels in Greece, the Kaimak Inn also features its own Escape Room. The Kaimak Inn this year received numerous honors at the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016 in the following categories: Best Greek Boutique Resort, Best Greek Romantic Resort, Best Greek Hotel & Resort Breakfast, Best Greek Hotel & Resort Conference Center, and Best Greek Excellence in Service Hotel & Resort. Currently operating seven properties on Skopelos, in addition to managing reservations and sales for additional properties on the island, Spyrou Philoxenia is expanding its roster with new partnerships throughout Greece that will be announced soon.
