Oman Air was awarded the Signum Virtutis, the seal of excellence, from the Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards 2016, during a prestigious gala dinner at the Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Marbella, Spain, held on October 15. The Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards celebrate the pinnacle in luxury for both hospitality and lifestyle. Oman Air was voted winner for the best airline in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, by the public and trade. The competitors included leading international airlines from around the world. “At Oman Air we are constantly striving ‘to become the best’ and it is immensely gratifying and motivating that we are now recognised as such. Oman Air is a successful, sustainable company of the highest quality and is seen to be setting standards when it comes to product and on board experience”, CEO of Oman Air Paul Gregorowitsch said. “The European market is incredibly important to us and awards like these demonstrate that we are recognised as offering the best possible product when it comes to flying from Europe”, Gregorowitsch added. The awards evening also recognised other winners from different categories in the luxury travel and lifestyle sector including: Best Luxury Hotel, Best Spa, Best Airport Lounge etc. During the ceremony, Oman Air showed its new television commercial campaign video that will run on the Cable News Network (CNN) until the end of December 2016.
