As part of this initiative, the airline has cooperated with local producers and organizations of the city to launch a series of actions and promote Thessaloniki’s beauty, features and special gastronomy. For the month of whole month of November, passengers on all Aegean domestic and international flights will have the chance to sample Thessaloniki’s cuisine including chocolate tsoureki (brioche) rolls and touloumpakia sweets. Aegean’s “Closer to Greece” – Thessaloniki campaign will also include onboard flight screenings of the tourism promotional video of the Municipality of Thessaloniki through to November 31. Moreover, the airline is once again supporting the 57th Thessaloniki Film Festival, the leading cinematic event in Southeast Europe and has planned activities and surprises for movie lovers during November 3-13.
