Ukrainian airline DART, based in Kiev, has appointed Discover the World as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in Greece, with immediate effect. Founded in 1997, DART keeps a secure position in the market of tourist travels in Ukraine, constantly taking care of the comfort and safety of flights, renewing fleet and improving its staff qualifications regularly. The Ukrainian airline flies from Athens to Kiev (Zhuliany) three times a week, all year around. The airline is centrally located in Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport, the main business aviation airport in Ukraine and one of the busiest business aviation hubs in Europe. DART’s services include luggage allowance per passenger up to 25kg for economy class and up to 30kg for business class and free cabin baggage up to 7kg. The airline has successfully passed EC-type examination OPS 1 in 2013 and received an Air Operator Certificate № UK 020 (the ICAO-code – DAT). In 2014 the company received permit for cargo-carrying operations. “Our aircraft crew, pilots and engineering staff, are all highly qualified, ensuring our passengers a safe and pleasant journey. DART’s pilots are extremely well trained, completing thousands of flight hours of passenger, cargo and training flights. Many of our crew have attended some of the most prestigious aviation schools world-wide”, the management of DART said in an announcement. DART’s fleet includes the following aircraft: Airbus 320/180 (168 Y, 12 C), Boeing 737-500 / 129 and Lear jet 60 / 12.
