An initiative of the Thessaly Region and the Larissa Chamber, the workshop comes within the Grow Greek Tourism Online initiative aimed at supplying tourism professionals with digital skills and offering the know-how to help them boost their businesses. In its third year and in collaboration with the Greek tourism ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), Google’s Grow Greek Tourism Online initiative has set a goal of educating more than 30,000 local sector professionals this year on the potential of digital sales. Subjects to be covered on Tuesday, include digital marketing techniques, use of basic online tools such as websites, social media, Google My Business, Google Adwords and Google Maps. Furthermore, Larissa organizers are also offering participants the chance to meet up with digital technology experts, technicians and consultants.
