B2B events GTP Island: Hoteliers to Gain Promotion Ideas Direct from the Pros @ 100% Hotel Show 2016 by GTP editing team 21 November 2016 written by GTP editing team 21 November 2016 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 29 For the third year, the Greek Travel Pages — Greece’s ultimate source of information for tourism professionals and travellers — will be operating out of the “GTP Island” at the 100% Hotel Show, opening doors of communication between visiting tourist accommodation owners and leading hospitality consultants and travel agencies. The 100% Hotel Show, the Greek exhibition addressed especially to hoteliers, will run November 25-28 at the MEC exhibition center in Peania, eastern Attica. The GTP Island will serve as a meeting point for tourist accommodation owners to gain insight into how to best promote their properties. A number of pre-arranged meetings have already been set up with hosted hospitality consulting companies Aqua Vista Hotels, Spyrou Philoxenia, Butterfly Stories; travel agencies Argo Travel Group, Ask2Travel; tech company Travelotopos; and villa agent Blueground. The GTP Island will be located in the Networking Area of “step 5” (Technology, Online, Services) of the 100% Hotel Show, near the Hospitality Workshop Stage, and will remain open throughout the fair to give visitors the chance to network and forge partnerships with major hosted buyers. Once again appointments between professionals will not take place in a usual B2B setting, but in a relaxed business environment: out in the open, all professionals working side by side. 100% Hotel Show 2016 The 4th 100% Hotel Show is aimed at hoteliers and tourism professionals and serves as a hub of ideas on everything from construction and decoration to innovative solutions and online presence. Many workshops are scheduled during the four-day event that will cover ways to increase reservations with practical advice from companies like Google, Web Hotelier, Nelios and Destsetters. Moreover, speakers specializing in boutique hotels will offer insight and ideas on how to expand in size and audience. Parallel events include the 100% Hotel Design Awards, the Booth Contest and the VIP Opening Party — all ideal opportunities for networking. The fair structure of 100% Hotel Show 2016 The visitor of 100% Hotel Show has the opportunity to “navigate” through the process of creating and developing a hotel product, since the whole structure of the fair is built according to 5 major steps, from conceiving the idea to positioning the final product to the global market. This was one of the main innovations of the exhibition. Each “step” has a distinctive color, marking the business sector of each exhibitor. At the same time, the whole structure of the fair creates an “easy-to-navigate” map, helping the visitors find their way more easily and effectively. The 100% Hotel Show 2016 is organized by DEMAND Customize Marketing.
