The strike will begin at 00:01 on Thursday and end at 24:00. Many shipping companies have made changes to their scheduled routes due to the strike. Travellers are advised to contact their travel agents for details. On the same day, Greece’s public sector union ADEDY have also announced a 24-hour general strike and will hold a protest rally in Athens center.
