The travel bloggers approached Minister Kountoura during the recent World Travel Market London 2016 and exchanged views about the influence of travel blogging in the Greek tourism sector. According to TBG, the minister’s office and the networking group, which is comprised of some of the top travel bloggers based in Greece with international influence, will continue their conversation in Athens. “Greek tourism businesses have greatly benefitted from working with TBG since we were established two years ago,” Elena Sergeeva, co-founder of Travel Bloggers Greece, told the Greek Travel Pages (GTP). “Travel blogging is a force in the tourism industry, and excellent collaborations are raising awareness about Greek destinations.” “As a member of TBG, I’ve participated in numerous trips across the country which has helped me to promote Greece’s amazing destinations to the world,” said TBG member Chrysoula Manika of www.travelpassionate.com. “I look forward to continued collaboration with fellow bloggers here in Greece and working with even more destinations and tourism businesses in 2017.
