HATTA Awards: Greece’s Best Travel Agency Brochures, Websites Honored for 26th Year

Greece’s best travel agency brochures and websites were recently honored for the 26th year by the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA).

The award ceremony took place on Friday, November 18, on the sidelines of the 32nd International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia in Thessaloniki.

The awards were given out by Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura, Deputy Minister of Macedonia-Thrace Maria Kollia Tsarouha, Secretary General for Tourism Policy and Development Yiorgos Tziallas, Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) President Dimitris Tryfonopoulos, Thessaloniki Deputy Mayor for Tourism and International Relations Spiros Pengas, TIF Helexpo President Anastasios Tzikas, Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) President Andreas Andreadis, HATTA President Stathis Skretas and Aegean Airlines Sales Director Greece Stefanos Sadopoulos.

Special Awards

• Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT)

HATTA honored the Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT), member of ECTAA, in recognition of their outstanding promotional efforts and sale of Greek destinations. PIT was represented by board member Kamil Kurak.

• Aegean Airlines cabin crews

HATTA honored the cabin crews of Aegean Airlines for being “Greece’s ambassadors in the air” and providing excellent services to visitors. Captain Yiannis Fountas and cabin crew members Katerina Malliou and Anastasia Mihail received the special award on behalf of Aegean Airlines.

• Turkish Embassy Attaché for Culture & Tourism in Athens

An honorary plaque was given to the Turkish Embassy Attaché for Culture & Tourism in Athens, Asli Gündoğdu Aksungur, who has completed her mandate in Greece.
