The new route will begin from June 3, 2017. Zakynthos will enjoy a frequency of two direct flights per week, every Wednesday and Saturday.

In total, British Airways will offer flights connecting London with Zakynthos, Athens, Thessaloniki, Mykonos, Santorini, Kos, Rhodes, Heraklion, Chania, Kalamata and Corfu.

“Our new flight to Zakynthos will offer passengers from the UK one more excellent choice for their summer holidays in Greece, while it also will facilitate the transfer of Greek residents to London and throughout the world, directly through Heathrow airport”, said Freddie Stier, British Airways’ Commercial Manager Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.

Flights to Zakynthos will be operated by A320 aircraft from Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport.
