Hotel Revamp Hints and More at Athens Event

Secrets and tips on how to best renovate a hotel business, the latest trends in design and client/visitor needs were the focus of the “Hotel Renovation & Supplies” day event held in Athens on Wednesday.

Organized by the Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association, the event also explored the challenges of the sector with a presentation of a survey conducted among the association’s members.

“This action is aimed at compiling the needs of the hoteliers and then in turn reaching out to the suppliers in order to organize the most effective and targeted meeting which will explore both supply and demand,” Athens – Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association President Alexandros Vassilikos said during the event.

After presenting the survey findings, Vassilikos went on to invite participating suppliers and companies to share smart ideas, make reasonably priced proposals and offer discounts to the association’s members. The survey was mainly carried out at five-, four- and three-star hotels operating all year round in Athens and Attica.

Respondents were primarily interested in learning about new renovation trends as well as market research tactics including the cost of such studies, services, equipment and products.
