The trained lawyer will succeed Sabine Mlnarsky, who has taken up a new challenge outside of the Lufthansa Group. Rau, 41, previously served as Head of Human Resources at Eurowings in Dusseldorf up until August 2016 and was most recently responsible for HR Management and Labor Relations for the Eurowings Group in Cologne. Rau is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Passau. Born in Stuttgart, she commenced her professional career in 2005 as a personnel officer for the Bertelsmann Group, where she was promoted to be Human Resources Manager for four companies within the Group subsidiary arvato services. In 2011, she was appointed to work as Senior Vice President Human Resources for Eurowings in Dusseldorf. “We have succeeded in luring Nathalie Rau, a top manager for the Lufthansa Group, to relocate to Vienna and work for the Austrian Airlines Group”, said Kay Kratky, CEO of Austrian Airlines. “The area of human resources plays a key strategic role for us which we hope to expand upon. For example, one focus is on employer branding and the issue of how we can further enhance our attractiveness as an employer.” Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
