Customers were invited to exchange Christmas wishes at the airport in an effort to support the charity fund, which aims to help children that face significant problems in Greece. “‘The Smile of the Child’ is one of many charities across Europe to receive ongoing donations from Ryanair scratch cards, where passengers can win some fantastic prizes while helping out many great causes”, Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Manager Eastern Mediterranean, Chiara Ravara, said. All donations will help support “The Smile of the Child” to continue making the world a better place for millions of children in Greece. AIA has been cooperating with “The Smile of the Child” since 2002 through a substantial number of activities such as the Children’s Creative Entertainment Area at the airport, offering smiles to hundreds of children-visitors every day. “Today’s initiative, jointly coordinated with Ryanair, a substantial airline partner with a very successful presence in our market, is yet another important step towards creating greater awareness for the needs of the children, while also demonstrating the benefits and the social imprint deriving from this important airport community cooperation”, said AIA’s Director of Communications and Marketing, Ioanna Papadopoulou. Ryanair, AIA and “The Smile of the Child” sincerely thanked all the participants, whose small contribution will have a profound positive impact in supporting the charity fund’s mission.
