Passenger traveling Aegean will have the chance through to January 5 to sample unique products from Epirus as well as dishes inspired by local cuisine. Some of the delicacies on offer include the renowned “Yianniotika” baklava and kataifi sweets as well as popular Christmas honey treats “melomakarona” on all Christmas and New Year’s flights. Meanwhile, Aegean Business Lounge will be serving the famed Epirot cheese and spinach pies, hors d’oeuvres with local feta and Metsovone cheese, chestnut and walnut spoon sweets, as well as a variety of syrupy pastries. During its flights, Aegean will be screening travel programs showcasing the Epirus region and its offerings. Aegean and Olympic Air have also launched their collaboration with Epirus-based businesses so that Miles+Bonus holders can gain from special discounts and exclusive offers.
