e-volution awards 2017: Discovergreece.com Applauded for Performance Marketing

Interactive tourism platform Discovergreece.com was honored with an important distinction for performance marketing, during the e-volution awards 2017 held earlier this month at the Athens Concert Hall. The e-volution awards highlight the most innovative and modern practices in e-commerce in Greece.

Discovergreece.com won the Bronze Award in the CPC Campaign section of the Digital Communication & Marketing category for its successful strategy and optimal use of performance marketing practices in digital advertising campaigns.

The Discovergreece.com team, in cooperation with ForestView, designed and carried out a promotion plan across multiple digital channels with a targeted promotion to quality markets, taking into account the seasonality and diversity of Greek destinations. This resulted to Discovergreece.com seeing increased traffic and improvement of CPC (Cost Per Click) and of quality metrics in Google Search and Google Display.

Discovergreece.com is an interactive platform that constitutes a strategic pillar of Marketing Greece’s operation. The website showcases an integrated Greek tourism product portfolio, acts as a sales tool by combining products with booking engines and serves as a digital platform for community building and social media campaigns.

The e-volution awards were held for the sixth consecutive year by ELTRUN (Laboratory of Electronic Commerce of the Athens University of Economics) and Boussias Communications. The awards were held under the auspices of Greek e-Commerce Association GRECA.
