Irini Tzirvelaki has joined the Marketing Department of Electra Hotels & Resorts as a Project Manager. Tzirvelaki boasts an extensive hospitality background with 20 years of experience in high-level management positions in five-star hotels in Greece, including Sunwing Resorts, Mitsis Hotels, Intercontinental, Sheraton and Kipriotis Hotels. According to Electra Hotels & Resorts, her experience and expertise in all fields of administration and operation of hotels will prove valuable in handling a major project soon to be announced. Sakis Venetis has undertaken the position of Executive Chef at the group’s newest hotel, the Electra Metropolis, in central Athens. Chef Venetis has achieved a long career in five-star hotels in Greece and abroad, such as Grecotel, Amanzoe-Ermioni, Anassa-Cyprus and Antlantis-Emirates. He has served in the Michelin-starred restaurants Sergio Herman and Rik Jansma and in upscale restaurants such as Matsuhisa-Athens, Etrusco-Ettore Botrini, Ark-Yannis Baxevanis and Edodi-Michalis Lytrivis. The Electra Hotels & Resorts group also welcomes Anna Theodoridou as its Marketing Executive. In this capacity, Theodoridou is responsible for implementing the group’s new integrated marketing strategy. She has varied Public Relations and Marketing experience and has also worked in the media industry and in the Hellenic Parliament. Prior to joining the Electra Hotels & Resorts, she served two years at Greek digital marketing agency Nelios. Theodoridou holds a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism and communication from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in European and International Relations from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
