Digitalisation, demographic change, disruption, corporate social responsibility etc., what is behind the mega trends and the buzzwords of the MICE industry? How do they play out in practice? How effective and efficient are these developments?

A number of industry professionals will be providing answers to many questions and highlighting best practices and actual scenarios at this year’s ITB Berlin’s MICE Day that will take place on March 8 at the ITB Berlin Convention.

The 2017 agenda includes topical issues such as sustainability and social responsibility, digitalisation and demographic change. Also, practical examples will also provide visitors with advice on how to implement decisions.

All ITB MICE Day sessions will be available as a webcast via live-stream. Press here to see the detailed program.

The event is organised by the Association of German Event Organizers (VERANSTALTUNGSPLANER.DE), the central organisation for decision-makers and senior executives of the MICE industry. It focuses on providing expert support for event planners, offering innovative knowledge and experience and bringing people and their ideas together.

ITB Berlin 2017 will take place from Wednesday to Sunday, 8 to 12 March. From Wednesday to Friday ITB Berlin is open to trade visitors only. Parallel with the trade show the ITB Berlin Convention, the world’s largest tourism convention, will be held from Wednesday, 8 to Saturday, 11 March 2017. Admission to the ITB Berlin Convention is free for trade visitors.
