During the annual general assembly, the chamber will introduce its new action regarding the Boutique Hotel special seal, the “Greek Breakfast” program certification process, updates on the trip2Athens digital platform and speeches will be given by the chairmen of Greece’s hotel associations. The chamber will also go over its finances and actions of the previous year and present a study by the Institute for Tourism Research and Forecasts (ITEP) regarding 2016 tourism data and the country’s hotel capacity. The study will include an analysis of data involving the Greek hotel sector by region and reflect the carrying capacity for tourism development. The 6th General Assembly will be held at 5pm and attended by Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Haritsis.
