The new service – designated as flight 9W 212, is conveniently timed to depart for Abu Dhabi from New Delhi, in the evening at 1745 hrs IST. It arrives in Abu Dhabi at a comfortable time of 2010 hrs (local time). The return flight, 9W 211, departs Abu Dhabi at 0845 hrs local time, arriving in New Delhi the same afternoon at 1335 hrs IST. “Our signature Indian hospitality together with our commitment to create an exceptional flying experience for our guests will undoubtedly cement our place as the preferred airline on this extremely vital route”, Shanmugam added. According to Jet Airways, the new frequency will also double the airline’s daily cargo-capacity on the sector. The enhanced capacity is expected to offer exporters greater flexibility in shipping various consignments, including perishables such as vegetables, flowers, food products, as well as more durable goods such as garments, fabrics, leather goods, machinery and pharmaceuticals. The burgeoning ties between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have opened up significant opportunities for enhanced cooperation in the areas of trade and business, aside from encouraging tourism and leisure travel between the two countries. Bilateral trade between the two nations is projected to cross US$100 billion by 2020. Gold Star Aviation is the general sales agent of Jet Airways in Greece.
