Visitor Numbers Up for HORECA 2017 Expo

The 12th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HORECA opened its doors at the Metropolitan Expo Center in Athens, on Friday, with a rise in visitor numbers.

According to data from the event’s organizer FORUM, a 30 percent rise in registered visitors was recorded on the first day of the exhibition.

Running until Monday, February 13,  the show is expected to attract all major decision makers from the hotel sector and the wider food market.

This year, some 550 exhibitors are showcasing their new products and services across 55,000 square meters of exhibit space. As every year, the HORECA expo is aiming to provide hoteliers and food service professionals with modern and effective solutions, tailored to the needs and budget of each individual establishment or hospitality unit.

The trade show is also hosting a wide-ranging program of presentations, seminars and workshops, covering the entire spectrum of functions for hotels, restaurants and café-bars.

During the days of the exhibition, internationally acclaimed speakers and experienced professionals from Greece and abroad, are scheduled to present detailed proposals and successful case studies to HORECA visitors, concerning all fields of construction, interior design, new technologies, gastronomy, coffee and cocktails.

The 12th HORECA’s special events is running under the themes of Hotel Build and Design; Future Hotel on the Web; Gastronomy Forum; Coffee Events, Beer & Spirits Show; and Greek Breakfast by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.
