Spyrou Philoxenia, a hotel management company in Greece, recently announced the addition of the Iris Guesthouse to its management portfolio. This marks the fourth Pelion-based hotel managed by Spyrou Philoxenia.

“Creating a fourth partnership in Pelion further shows our strong belief in the area as a premier holiday destination”, said Dimitris Schistohilis, Project Manager of Spyrou Philoxenia.

“Working with both Greek and international tour operators and travel agents, we strive to create a sizable room count to be able to cater to the demands for volume required.”

A traditional hotspot for Greek and international holidaymakers throughout the year, Pelion offers a wonderful mix of mountain and beaches in a pristine natural environment. Many visitors to Pelion usually continue their holidays in Greece by visiting other nearby sites on the mainland such as Meteora and Mt. Olympus and island hopping to Skiathos and Skopelos during the summer months.

“With four hotels now in the region and more on the horizon, we can create further synergies with local activity providers and concentrate our efforts on true destination marketing”, said John Grigoras, Deputy Manager Marketing & Sales of Spyrou Philoxenia.

Located minutes away from the central square of Tsagarada, the 14-room Iris Guesthouse is positioned at an altitude of 500 meters and offers en-suite fireplaces and balconies with impressive views and high quality amenities. The hotel also hold yoga retreats throughout the year.

Currently operating seven properties on the island of Skopelos in addition to managing reservations and sales for additional properties there, Spyrou Philoxenia is expanding its roster with new partnerships throughout Greece.
