Electra Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Irene Zambelaki as Hotel Operations Manager of the Electra Metropolis.

Irene joins the Electra family with a 20-year distinguished career in five-star hotels. She has served in various positions in hotels, including the Hilton Athens and the Astir Palace Vouliagmeni luxury resort in the position of Complex F&B Director. Irene excelled in improving the department’s financial results and guest satisfaction indexes. Her experience includes service culture trainings, six sigma methodology, menu engineering, cost control, world class events organization and a focus on customer service and operational excellence techniques.

Irene studied in Canada where she received her diploma in Administration and Finance and trained in the hospitality industries in Rome, Paris and The Hague. She speaks fluent English and French.
