Porto Carras Spring Golf Cup Ready for Action by GTP editing team 17 February 2017 written by GTP editing team 17 February 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 12 It’s golf time in Greece and the Porto Carras Grand Resort is getting ready to host international lovers of the sport at its renovated 18-hole golf course for the Spring Golf Cup on April 1- 2 and for the End-of-Year Trophy on November 18-19. Both events are open to members of golf clubs in Greece and this year the National Golf Team will also be participating. The Hellenic Golf Federation selected the Porto Carras Grand Resort premises for the two events as it meets all international quality and competition standards. The golf course was designed in 1968 by Geoffrey S. Cornish and William G. Robinson and renovated in 2003 by Roy Mc Ray. Besides the challenging course it also offers spectacular views and excellent post-golf facilities. Aiming to make Greece a leading golf destination, the Porto Carras Grand Resort will also organize the 8th Porto Carras Pro-Am & Open.
