Speaking to a group of travel agents during a recent meeting in Moscow, the company’s CEO, Alexander Tsandekidis, said that the bookings to Greece were a result of a campaign launched by the company that involved the promotion of Athens and southern Greece resorts. Mouzenidis expects to send half a million tourists to Greece in 2017 with the launch of the new programs and services for partners, good cooperation with agencies and quality tour products. The tour operator aims to overcome the level of one million customers in the coming years. During the meeting, insight on Mouzenidis Travel’s network of authorized agents was also provided. The network currently includes 2,500 Russian tour agencies and 500 travel agencies based in Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia and Kazakhstan. According to Tsandekidis, the average growth of sales of its partners network was 886 percent.
