Zakynthos, Greece.

Austrian Airlines will increase frequencies to Rhodes, Heraklion, Zakynthos, Chania, Athens and Kos this summer, in response to stronger demand. Twelve more flights will be offered each week compared to the summer of 2016, thus adding up to a total of 49 weekly flights to 17 destinations in Greece.

The increased frequencies to Greek destinations is part of Austrian Airlines’ extensive range of flights to 135 destinations in 54 countries in its summer 2017 flight schedule.

The Austrian Airlines summer flight schedule takes effect on March 26, 2017.

The Austrian flag carrier will also expand its European flight offering to Italy and increase the number of flights to Catania and Milan. On balance, with three additional flights each week, Austrian Airlines will fly 99 times per week to eleven destinations in Italy.

Austrian Airlines will fly to 38 destinations in the Eastern European region in the coming summer. This includes four Ukrainian destinations including Kiev, Dnipro, Lviv and Odessa. Three additional flights will be offered to both Lviv and Odessa, thus up to ten direct flights each week from Vienna.

Three destinations will be served in Russia, namely Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar.

The airline will also expand its North American portfolio in the summer of 2017 and operate up to six direct weekly flights from Vienna to Los Angeles.

Austria’s national carrier will also fly more frequently to destinations in the Middle East and Africa. 17 flights will be operated each week to Tel Aviv, a plus of three flights per week. Four additional flights will be offered to Cairo, or up to eleven direct flights from Vienna each week.
