Air charter broker company Zela Aviation recently celebrated its 10th year in business following its foundation in 2006. In the air transport industry, Zela Aviation’s role is that of a professional intermediary between supplier (airline, aircraft lessor or even an aircraft manufacturer) and customer (airline, tour operator, travel agency, corporate firm or even an individual). Zela works with a large range of carriers globally, always in touch with their developments to be in a position to give its clients the best service. “We are grateful to have earned a highly regarded position as your trusted air charter broker and promise to continue to achieve the best service in the many years to come”, Andreas Christodoulides, the company’s founder, said in an announcement on the occasion of Zela’s anniversary. Headquartered in Cyprus and with offices in the UK and Greece — along with a team of 10 members that speak six languages — Zela Aviation has long and successful partnerships providing cost effective, timely solutions for whole plane charter seat capacity. Zela Aviation works with many leading EU independent tour operators and a range of airlines. “Everything we have achieved within the past 10 years has been built upon the support and trust of our valued clients”, Christodoulides said. Since day 1, Zela Aviation has concluded a range of charter flights for ad hoc operations and has placed a wide range of aircraft across the world on medium to long term ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) contracts. Zela offers the marketplace a 24hour ACMI service, actively marketing any spare capacity that its extensive client base may have available. Zela is also active in the short and long term ACMI leasing of aircraft to airlines that need to address seasonal demand, temporary fleet structure problems and expansion of network or charter work, to cover technical problems, scheduled maintenance inputs, program disruptions and so on. “On behalf of the entire Zela team, I thank all of our customers and partners for helping make our vision a reality”, Christodoulides added.
