TUI awarded Atlantis Beach Hotel in Rethymno, Crete, for its quality and hospitality during a special ceremony held at the Electra Palace in Thessaloniki this week.

Owned by Akti Lagoudaki SA, the Atlantis Beach was among 250 best hotels selected for the prestigious TUI Top Quality 2017 award by TUI’s guests. All hotels earned the highest ratings in the TUI guest survey and scored at least 8.7 out of 10 possible points. Atlantis Beach Hotel was awarded for the quality of services, its warm hospitality, its cuisine and its safety.

Built in 1990, along the coast of Rethymno, the Atlantis Beach has for 27 years contributed to tourism growth and to the local economy while offering employment opportunities. Riding on the momentum, Atlantis Beach management said it aims to achieve new distinctions that will bring Crete, Rethymno and Greece into the international spotlight.

Hannover-based TUI Group is the largest leisure, travel and tourism company in the world. It owns nine tour operators based in Europe.
