Organized by Respond on Demand for the sixth year in a row, the B2B event, comprised of business meetings and networking activities, has placed Thessaloniki in the center of the attention of many travel agents from abroad seeking to launch partnerships with Greek tourism entrepreneurs. According to travel professionals Maria Athanasopoulou and Chryssa Krassa from Respond on Demand, year by year the event attracts the participation of more buyers and suppliers looking to launch cooperations. The B2B Travel Event Thessaloniki 2017, brought to Greece some 30 travel agency representatives, tour operators, travel consultants and MICE organizers from ten countries — Albania, Bulgaria, Germany, Lebanon, The Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Turkey, Serbia and the UK — to talk business with renowned Greek hotels and travel agencies participating in the event. “This encourages us to make an extra effort to attract more and more remarkable representatives of tourist agencies from abroad every year, as this will certainly lead to a number of new partnerships with Greek tourism entrepreneurs who choose to participate in the B2B Travel Event,” Athanasopoulou added. The dates of the B2B Travel Event Thessaloniki 2018 will be announced soon. The Greek Travel Pages (GTP) is a communication sponsor of the B2B Travel Event Thessaloniki 2017.
