Company updates Qatar Airways Holds Partner Update Event in Athens by GTP editing team 30 March 2017 written by GTP editing team 30 March 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 11 Qatar Airways’ latest news, upcoming developments and plans for the Greek market were presented and discussed on Wednesday during a corporate workshop in Athens, attended by the airline’s executives and leading players from the travel market in Greece. “Our partners in Greece play a crucial role in implementing our strategy and next steps in the country and their contribution to our future development is fundamental,” said Alexandros Michalopoulos, Qatar Airways Greece Sales Manager. “This is the reason why we want to be close to our partners, offering then as much comprehensive information as possible about our novelties and plans in the local market.” During the workshop, Michalopoulos informed attendees about QSuite, the highly anticipated and revolutionary new Business Class cabin that the company launched to the global travel industry recently. QSuite features the industry’s first-ever double bed available in Business Class, with privacy panels that stow away, allowing passengers in adjoining seats to create their own private room. “One of our company’s main goals is to offer an unparalleled travel experience, that is being upgraded frequently and covers even the most sophisticated and personalized needs. This goal would not be achieved without the undivided support and constructive collaboration of our partnering travel agencies,” Michalopoulos added. Moreover, Maria Paleologou, Qatar Airways Greece Reservation Officer, also addressed the Greek travel professionals and informed them about the destinations already added in the QR network, such as Auckland in New Zealand, celebrating also record-breaking service for the world’s longest direct commercial flight.
