The Heineken Champions Voyage challenge, designed by Heineken and Athenian Brewery, was presented during an event on Wednesday, in Athens, attended by tourism stakeholders, who noted the significant promotional benefits for the Cycladic island of Mykonos as well as for Greece. Heineken will for the next three years offer through its #ChampionsVoyage challenge the chance for a select few to watch the UEFA Champions League final while on cruise in Greece, aiming to demonstrate the company’s vote of confidence in Greece, while generating interest in the country as a tourist destination, enhancing visibility abroad and creating benefits for the Greek economy. “Our main concern at Athenian Brewery over the years has been to support the creative and innovative sides of Greece, and to create actions that lead to growth. Apart from our initiatives in the country, it’s time to attract global interest to one of the most important sectors of our economy, tourism,’’ said Zooullis Mina, chairman and managing director, Athenian Brewery. ”Through the leverage of the Heineken brand internationally, but also via our sponsorship platform for the UEFA Champions League, we have placed Greece at the center of a global event, promoting Greek cruise tourism and showcasing our country as an even more attractive destination. We believe in Greece and we are sharing this belief with the world,” Mina added. Mykonos Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
