Aiming to offer the best services to its guests, the hotel has announced a renewed decoration, a new culinary philosophy and more accommodation options. This season, the hotel’s guests will enjoy a renewed decoration of the Alios Ilios restaurant combined with a new philosophy. The brand new menu will introduce flavors from Crete and the Cyclades, combining the purest and most famous dishes of each region, such as the Cretan “apaki” and the Cycladic Santorinian “fava”. Moreover, the Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa will continue to focus on offering top-notch services. The hotel was awarded for its services in 2016 with the Award of Excellence with a total score of 9.3 points by Booking.com and has also received “We do local” and “Greek Breakfast” certifications and the ELOT En ISO 22000 standard. “Τhe hotel will continue to operate with respect to Santorini, its culinary traditions, its employees, the sustainability of the island, its customs and traditions, but most of all in view of its guests’ health and needs,” the management of the Santo Maris Oia said in an announcement. The Santo Maris Oia has also added new room types — Junior Deluxe Suite Sunset & Sea View, Deluxe Suite Sunset & Sea View and Suite Pool Front — that will ensure an even greater variety of accommodation options and are expected to be particularly popular among honeymooners. The hotel offers a total of 44 suites and villas. The Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa is a member of the Metaxas Group of Companies, which operates in Santorini since 1987, and offers financial support to various projects of the island. One example of its support is the funding offered for the purchase of land, which today houses the island’s new hospital.
