Event News Athens’ 11th Aviation Conference to Focus on Medical Health Certificates, Drones by GTP editing team 12 April 2017 written by GTP editing team 12 April 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 26 Photo source: pixabay Athens is preparing to host the 11th “Aviation – Present and Future” Conference in May and this year will focus on two key issues: Medical Aviation (Medical Health Certificates) and the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones). The annual, international event aims to gather legal, scientific and economic experts from the aviation industry in Greece and abroad, to exchange views and ideas on the current trends and EU regulations, as well as discuss the latest international practices towards a socially responsible aviation market. The conference is organized by iForce Communications and it will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks of the Hellenic Republic, in cooperation with the Pan-Hellenic Union of Pilots and Flight Crew of Security Forces and Public Sector (P.E.I.P.S.A.D.Y) and the Hellenic Pilots Association (HPA). It will be held on May 9, at 10 am in the amphitheater of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks (Anastaseos 2 & Tsigante streets, Papagos). Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, Christos Spirtzis will give a speech to open the conference in the presence of experts and consultants from the Transport Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, the Civil Aviation Authority, airline companies, industry union representatives, journalists, academics and students from Technological University of Halkida.
