Event News Get the Feel and Smell of Spring at the 63rd Kifissia Flower Show by GTP editing team 24 April 2017 written by GTP editing team 24 April 2017 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 15 The scent of thousands of colorful flowers, herbs and spices will fill the air of Kifissia, north of Athens, during the 63rd Kifisia Flower Show, which will open its doors on April 27 and run until May 14. Organized by the Municipality of Kifissia, the Flower Show will feature some 65 producers, who will present their plants in an area of 20,000 m2 at the “Dimitris Zomopolos” Park of Kifissia. The Municipality’s agriculturists will be there to advice visitors on how to create their own garden. Events will also include speeches, concerts, interactive workshops and theatrical performances. This year’s Flower Show will give emphasis to the educational character of plants and flowers. Special, therapeutic gardens will be accessible to children and adults, to provide more information on the benefits of agriculture, collection and processing of therapeutic plants. The 36rd Kifissia Flower Show will be open from 10 am to 10 pm. The entry ticket will cost 1.50 euro and it will be valid for all days.
