Argolida to Host 3-day ‘Bike Challenge Tour 2017’

Argolida is preparing to host the Bike Challenge Tour 2017, a three-day bicycle race with the participation of professional and amateur athletes. The race will begin on April 29, at 13.30 am, from Tolo, near Naflplio and will end in Lygourio on May 1.

More specifically, in the 178 km route cyclists will pass through Tolo, Galatas, Nea Epidaurus to reach the finish line in Lygourio near the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus. Participants will have the chance of experiencing different degrees of difficulty, while racing on coastal and mountainous roads, through forests and the countryside.

A shorter, 35 km race will take place with the participation of children and youngsters.

The event is organized by the Regional Unit of Argolida, the Municipalities of Nafplio, Epidaurus and Trizinia-Methana, the “Diomidis” Cycling Association of Argos, the Tourism Association of Tolo, the Hellenic Cycling Federation and whynot company.
