With a stunning view of the Acropolis hill, guests at the “Acropolis Secret” will enjoy traditional Greek dishes served with a contemporary twist, blending authentic flavors and ingredients. Starters include Cretan cheese and spinach pie; zucchini meatballs with halloumi cheese; salmon tartare with oak smoked salmon sprinkled with Messοlongi fish roe. Visitors can also try refreshing salads; Greek linguini carbonara with syglino (smoked pork) from Mani, southwestern Peloponnese and Niotikο kefalotyri (a salty type of cheese produced on the island of Ios in the Cyclades). Fresh fish is always on the menu, as well as dishes made of meat, such as grilled tenderloin with herbs, chicken souvlaki accompanied by baby peppers stuffed with couscous, and kebab with yoghurt and mint. The restaurant’s up-to-date wine list offers selections from Greek appellations. The restaurant’s desserts are also inspired by Greek cuisine. Visitors can try the traditional honey pie with anthotyro (a kind of Greek, white cheese) and cinnamon, which is served with mastic ice-cream and sweet bergamot. Another tasty selection is the walnut pie, which is flavored with anise and served with parfait ice-cream and passion fruit sauce.
