Wyndham Hotel Group and hotel development consultants Zeus International announced the opening this month of two new hotels in the seaside town of Loutraki: the 107-suite Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon and the 196-room (and bungalows) Ramada Loutraki Poseidon Resort. The brands Wyndham and Ramada are part of the Wyndham Hotel Group, a hotel industry giant with a presence of more than 8,000 hotels in 79 countries.

The two groups also announced plans for expansion in the next decade with 20 hotels in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania.

“The Wyndham Hotel Group has ambitious development plans for Greece, and Zeus International has found a remarkable partner with whom the expansion of our presence in Greece will become a reality. We want to ensure that any destination chosen by travelers, whether in Greece or the rest of the world, can always find the quality of our services near them,” said Dan Ruff, CEO Wyndham Hotel Group.

Besides offering the latest in amenities, the two new Loutraki hotels – near the major tourist destinations of Nafplio, Epidavros and Delphi – offer nine meeting rooms which can cater to some 650 people and an outdoor amphitheater on the beach that can accommodate up to 900 people, making it an ideal destination for events. The hotel also hosts five indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, gym and sports facilities including tennis courts, basketball courts, mini golf grounds, a children’s playground and a wide variety of water sports for guests of all ages.

“Following the successful launch of Wyndham Grand Athens, we are pleased to further extend our cooperation to Greece with the venture in Loutraki, a city known for its natural beauty and its healing springs,” said Haris Siganos, CEO and founder of Zeus International.

The two hotels stand in the place of the historic Poseidon Resort Hotel which was constructed in 1966. Loutraki is about an hour drive from Athens.

For the month of May, the Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon Resort and the Ramada Loutraki Poseidon Resort are offering a 20 percent discount on room rates (based on availability).
