It’s show time as Istanbul prepares to host the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four 2017 on May 19-21 at the indoor Sinan Erdem Dome.

The final round of the championship will see CSKA Moscow, Real Madrid, Fenerbahçe and Olympiacos Piraeus – out of 24 teams – vying for the trophy.

Greece’s Olympiacos Piraeus will face CSKA Moscow on Friday (May 19) at 5.30pm (local time).

“İstanbul once again welcomes basketball fans from all across Europe to witness the excitement as the best teams of the continent face each other to be the champion,” said İlker Aycı, Turkish Airlines chairman of the Board.

“As the airline that flies to more countries than any other, it is our core mission to bridge peoples, continents and worlds not only through our wide network but also a diverse range of sponsorship activities that we’ve been engaged in for many years. Our strong backing to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague underlines the importance we attach to the passion of sports, the values of sportsmanship and friendly competition in fulfilling our mission,” Aycı added.

The final round of the competition returns to Istanbul five years after the EuroLeague Final Four 2012.

Fenerbahçe and Real Madrid face each other at 8.30pm (local time) on Friday. The teams that lose on Friday will compete for the third place in the league table on Sunday at 5pm.

The final takes place at 8pm on Sunday to be broadcast to nearly 200 countries worldwide.

Turkish Airlines has been the official sponsor of the EuroLeague Final Four since 2010 and will continue its sponsorship for three more years.
