Alkyon Resort Hotel & Spa Lends Support to Frygani Rock Climbing

As part of its strategy to diversify, the five-star Alkyon Resort Hotel & Spa has announced its support of the new Sector Frygani, the latest addition in Peloponnese climbing options.

About a 1.5-hour drive from Athens and 30kms from Alkyon Resort Hotel & Spa, Sector Frygani is located at Mount Ziria near the mythical Stymphalia Lake plateau and consists of two cliffs.

Alkyon has worked together with Climb Frygani towards the creation of four routes:

– Alkyon Resort: with a 25m spread and 6b+ difficulty level

-Alkyon Resort Ext: with a 40m spread and a 6b+ difficulty level

-Evaggelia: with a 23m spread and 6a degree of difficulty

-Alkyon: with a 20m spread and 5c level of difficulty

Alkyon Hotel Resort & Spa is an ideal weekend destination located about an hour away from Athens in Vrachati, Corinth. Set in lush gardens, the hotel offers the finest in accommodation services, wellness, spa treatments as well as state-of-the-art conference facilities.

Supporting the Frygani Rock Climbing experience is part of the hotel’s efforts to attract tourism to the region while supporting local communities.
