The Thessbrunch (meaning “want brunch” in Greek) initiative will be carried out by THA member hotels across the northern port city serving brunch over the weekends. Repeatedly awarded for its gastronomic offerings, Thessaloniki prides itself on offering the latest and the best. THA hotels will include Greek breakfast and lunch offerings as well as traditional sweet and savory brunch favorites including omelettes, bread rolls, bagels, waffles and pancakes, among many others. Each Thessbrunch will be hosted by a chosen THA member hotel starting on May 28 at The Excelsior. The Electra Palace, Grand Palace, Holiday Inn Thessaloniki, Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, Makedonia Palace, Mediterranean Palace, Nikopolis Thessaloniki, Anatolia Hotels Thessaloniki, City Hotel, Colors Urban, Di Tania, Golden Star City Resort and Le Palace will host on the weekends that follow. For more info on which hotel is serving Thessbrunch, the menu, and to share ideas and experiences visit www.thessbrunch.com In the meantime, on the occasion of Thessbrunch, participants are invited to post photos using the much-loved “koulouri” (under hashtag #koulouriofthemonth) as a frame. Winners are treated to a two-night stay at a Thessaloniki hotel and … brunch, of course. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
