TAROM

Romania’s national airline TAROM recently launched the new “AirFi” entertainment platform on board its aircraft, which includes a wide range of audio and visual material for adults and children.

Using their own mobile devices (smart phone, tablets, laptops) passengers get access to press articles, movies, music, games, while they can also chat with other travelers.

The content, available in Romanian and in English, is constantly being updated and includes information on the route, flight timeframe and weather conditions.

“AirFi” is accessible on all internal and external flights, operated on Airbus 318 and Boeing 737-700 aircraft, while a total of eight of TAROM’s aircraft will include the service.

The service is available free of charge.

TAROM counts a 40-year presence in the Greek market and operates scheduled flights from Bucharest to Athens and Thessaloniki.
