Under the theme “Boosting Silk Road Meeting Industry”, the World MICE Day is an initiative of the Qingdao Government, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade-Qingdao Sub Council and BIT Congress Inc., one of China’s main conference organizers. Aiming to provide a professional communication platform for the MICE people around the world, WMD 2017 will include six events: A Keynote Forum for government representatives, the MICE Industry Forum for Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs), the MICE Organization Forum, the MICE Partnership Forum, the Technology and Innovation Forum and the PSA (Pre Scheduled Appointments)/Training Courses. During the three-day event participants will have the opportunity to hold B2B meetings and attend networking sessions, as well as gain from the parallel educational events, which will focus on the latest trends in the MICE industry. To view the full program of events click here. Greek marketing and promotion company Respond on Demand has been appointed to select participants for the Hosted Buyers program of WMD 2017. The host city, Qingdao, is a major seaport and an industrial center. It is also a significant tourism destination, due to its numerous sites of attraction such as the world’s longest sea bridge, the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge and the Tsingtao Brewery, the second largest brewery in China.
