Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), Switzerland’s national airline, will expand its range of European services from Zurich and add two new destinations to its 2017/18 winter schedules. The airline announced on Wednesday that it will add Wroclaw in southern Poland to its winter itineraries. Also, service to Niš in Serbia, which was introduced this summer, will continue in the winter timetable period.

Starting in late October SWISS will launch of a new service between Zurich and Wroclaw, which will serve passengers three times a week. The Wroclaw region has seen a substantial economic growth and has been discovered by major banks, life science and electronics corporations and service providers, the company said.

The Zurich – Niš itinerary, already included in the current summer schedules, will continue through winter with flights on Fridays and Sundays, aimed primarily at customers visiting friends and relatives.

The 2017-18 winter schedules will come into effect as of October 29, but bookings for the two new destinations are open.

SWISS is currently serving over 100 destinations in 43 countries from Zurich and Geneva and is carrying some 16.5 million passengers each year with its 91-aircraft fleet.
