Aiming to strengthen ties between the business communities of Greece and Russia, and contribute to dialogue on investment, trade, tourism and culture, the CEO of Russia convention and exhibition events organizer Roscongress Foundation, Alexander Stuglev, and TIF-Helexpo president Tasos Tzikas signed an agreement during the St Petersburg International Economic Forum earlier this week. In this direction, the two parties explored the possibility of Greek-owned companies participating in next year’s International Economic Forum in St Petersburg as well as the probability of jointly organizing an economic forum in Thessaloniki, which will focus on Eurasian cooperation. The two sides also discussed ways that the Roscongress Foundation could serve as a “bridge” for the participation of Russian companies in the Helexpo show. Under the agreement, mutual actions include consultations and support on economic and social agenda issues, the organization of joint conferences and events including fora, round-tables, business meetings, exhibitions, presentations as well as the international promotion of actions in Russia and Greece. TIF-Helexpo was an honored guest at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
