The passenger ferry company has announced a 50 percent discount on ferry tickets from and to the island for those that need to travel to visit their families and their property. The discount is valid for tickets of passengers and private vehicles for travel from June 15 until June 18. “Blue Star Ferries once again is assisting with the problems faced by the Greek islands. Beyond its great symbolism, this substantial initiative once again shows that coastal shipping is a barometer for the development and to face extraordinary conditions on the Greek islands,” the company said in an announcement. Attica Group engages in passenger shipping (Cyclades, Dodecanese, North Aegean and Crete) via its subsidiaries Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries, with a total of 13 ships that provide modern, high quality transportation services in Greece and abroad.
